A while ago, a friend of a friend asked if I could spare some time to help out with an organic food information website. I’m a strong believer that organic food isn’t just a middle class health fad; with dwindling fossil fuels and monopolistic gene patents looming strong, it’s part of the backbone of any sustainable future. So I helped out.
The site, edited by renowned organic cookbook author Ysanne Spevack, has since grown into a lively WordPress-driven mine of resources relating to organic food and lifestyle. It includes a host of information on recipes, remedies and supplements, from a variety of contributors, blogs by Ysanne covering organic news and her own organic adventures, and an essential guide to British organic shops and box schemes.
It’s great to contribute to the spread of solid information about organic food. Plus, I got to be on the tasting team when we compiled the definitive guide to organic chocolate ;-).
